Salter’s passenger vessels provide the perfect venue for all kinds of events from corporate entertainment and works parties to birthdays, anniversaries and wedding receptions. We also have some great options for Hen Parties on the Thames. Scroll down to see our rates. Our exclusive fleet are also available for charter during the showpiece event of the Henley Royal Regatta.
Locations
Private charters can be hired from any of our River Thames landing stages at the rates shown below and we are also happy to go from other locations, please call to discuss.
Catering
We have developed a delicious selection of menus designed to satisfy any palate and budget. Fork Buffets start from £28.00 + VAT per person, Finger Buffets from £17.50 + VAT and Hot Menus from £10.75 + VAT. We also have smaller Cruise Menus from £4.50 + VAT per person.
We do also allow self catering at a charge of £3.50 + VAT per person.
Edwardian River Launch
Our new Edwardian River Launch “Constantia” is the latest addition to Salters fleet. Charter rates start from £250 for a charter, including skipper. Drinks and Catering can be arranged at extra cost as required. For more details please contact one of our friendly booking team.
Entertainment & Decorations
The finishing touches to any event can be provided with professional entertainment and beautiful decorations. The wide variety of options include: Jazz Bands, Steel Bands, String Quartets, Professional DJs, Karaoke, Casino Tables and Magician.
Bar Facilities
All our boats come with onboard bar facilities and bar staff. Drinks receptions can be arranged as can tab-bar facilities, paid at the end of the hire. A well-chosen wine from our extensive selection can also provide a perfect accompaniment for all occasions.
Henley Royal Regatta
Entertain in the midst of the action at this year’s Henley Royal Regatta. Britain’s best-known Regatta is a high point in the social calendar and is traditionally enjoyed from the water. Salter’s craft are among the most elegant boats on show and we offer a wide variety of different packages with options tailored to suit all requirements.

VAT: Boat hire charges are currently zero rated.
Day hires can be any 5 hours between 10am and 6pm (extra hours pro-rata). Evening rates apply after 6.00pm – additional hours on quotation.
