Getting to Our Goring Departure Point
Our Goring services operate from the peaceful riverside mooring located just below the historic Goring lock on the towpath. This scenic departure point sits in the heart of the Goring Gap, offering passengers spectacular views of the surrounding Chiltern Hills and easy access via both road and rail transport.
Goring Lock Mooring
Salters' boats depart from the mooring just below Goring lock by the towpath (nearest postcode RG8 9AE). Approach on the A417 or A329 and once reaching Streatley, turn down the Reading road (B4526) towards Goring. After crossing the bridge, the lock can be seen below on the left hand side.
