Age & Safety Requirements
For safety and security purposes, at least one member of your party must be aged 18 or over, and all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Valid photo ID is required for the security deposit, and please note that alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited whilst operating the boat.
Weather & Cancellation Policy
Thames weather can be unpredictable. We offer one postponement to an alternative date with 24 hours' notice. Please note that cancellations cannot be refunded, so choose your date carefully and check the forecast beforehand.
What You Can Bring

- 1. Arrive & Check In - Meet us at Folly Bridge, beside the historic Head of the River pub. Please arrive ten minutes before your scheduled departure time.
- 2. Safety Briefing - We'll run through essential safety information and ensure you're comfortable with basic rowing technique. Never rowed before? Don't worry, we'll have you confidently navigating the Thames in minutes.
- 3. Set Off & Explore - You're the captain now. Navigate at your own pace, stop wherever catches your eye, and create your own Thames adventure.

- 1-Hour Hire - Available for walk-ins when capacity allows, perfect for spontaneous river adventures.
- 3-Hour Hire - Perfect for a leisurely exploration of Oxford’s immediate waterways. Drift past Christ Church Meadow, navigate charming backwaters, and perhaps venture as far as Iffley Lock.
